From a recent survey in the Netherlands they found out that attractive people have a 20% more chance to be invited for a job interview than less attractive people. People who are (relatively speaking) therefor less attractive are likely to lose out twice or more. Increasing one’s chances of a successful future the investment in one’s personal aesthetic or social capital starts as a result as early as possible. Where in previous times braces would be frowned upon and a reason for bullying it has become nowadays a status symbol. A show of proof that someone is consciously working on its future and has the means to do so. It is as well the day you say goodbye to your childhood and enter youthhood.
